Jason Grant started his photographic life in front of the camera being a subject for his aunts’ photographic assignment back in the 90s. It was only until some 10 years later that he bought is own camera and reconnected with his initial photographic interaction as effortlessly as a casual past time.

This casual past time evolved and developed in late 2004 when he bought his first digital SLR camera, ultimately changing everything. Being self-taught Jason began to experiment, as he disowned the training wheeled use of auto settings.

Jason dived into the world of the dancehall club scene capturing action shots all over London. He quickly moved into portraits, concerts, live events and fashion based events – the latter being where most of his work resides.

Over the last four years Jason has worked at many high-profile events, including London Fashion week, Kulture 2 Couture, UK Urban Fashion Awards, Mahogany Models Top Model of Colour and the 2007 Caribbean Fashion week in Jamaica.

Not limited to just fashion, Jason has worked within the PR world for clients such as Silk PR, Sleek Cosmetics, Sky Andrews and Carphone Warehouse.

In a step to expand his photographic range, he entered the hair photography arena in spring 08 partnering with both Josh Hair and Asphair for their submission to the Sleek Weave award - both of which were short-listed.

Currently working on a new book and future Exhibitions, Jason is now turning his focus to presenting his work in Galleries and books.

Being an exceptional fashion photographer Jason's has had the opportunity to work with a large variety of different models meaning that he can help the IFE models understand how to shine in front of the camera and become memorable individuals for all the right reasons.
